Meet the Team

Dr. Garrett Paulson

Dr. Paulson is a second-generation chiropractor who’s been getting adjusted since he was a child! He and his brother grew up under the care of their dad, learning early on that the body is naturally smart and built to heal itself. In the Paulson household, fevers and sniffles weren’t treated like enemies, but like signs that the body was doing exactly what it was supposed to do. That mindset shaped Dr. Paulson’s passion for helping families trust their bodies and thrive—starting from day one.

He went on to attend the University of Dayton, where he met his future wife, Caroline. His journey to chiropractic began during college when he worked in his father's practice and witnessed patients experiencing significant improvements through chiropractic care. His passion deepened while working at a pediatric chiropractic clinic in Marietta, GA, throughout school, where he observed remarkable changes in infants and pregnant mothers through nervous system-focused care.

Today, Dr. Paulson focuses on educating and empowering families on regular nervous system checks and chiropractic adjustments for children as part of a preventative approach to healthcare. Especially for children who experienced stressful deliveries such as C-section, forceps, and vacuum extraction. He is also passionate about supporting mothers through pregnancy and their birth experiences through nervous system-focused chiropractic.

Caroline Paulson, DPT

Caroline brings a unique perspective as both a pediatric physical therapist and co-owner of Connected Kids. Growing up as an identical triplet and dealing with persistent headaches for years, Caroline discovered firsthand the difference chiropractic care can make after meeting Dr. Paulson in college.

Today, Caroline is actively practicing at The Therapy Center of Hendersonville, while also supporting Connected Kids behind the scenes as Patient Care Coordinator. She focuses on keeping the clinic running smoothly, supporting the team, and creating a welcoming environment so every family who walks through our doors can have a positive and impactful experience.

Gina Carpenter

Gina Carpenter is a native Tennessean, born and raised in Memphis. In 2001, she moved to Sumner County to start a family. In addition to raising three beautiful daughters, she’s spent the last 24 years staying connected in the community. From PTO President to political campaign staffer to antique vendor, Gina was always looking for opportunities to be involved in unique and meaningful ways.

As the reality of becoming an empty nester set in, she prayed for just the right opportunity to present itself for this next chapter. When she found Connected Kids Chiropractic, she was immediately drawn to Dr. Paulson’s and Caroline’s passion for holistic preventative care for mothers and children. Gina couldn’t be more thrilled about joining our team, and is excited to warmly welcome and connect with our patients each day.
