The One Prenatal Test Most Moms Never Hear About

Between the glucose test, the anatomy scan, and the dozen appointments on your calendar, there's one thing most standard prenatal care never checks: how your nervous system is actually handling pregnancy.

Your nervous system is running the show behind the scenes the whole time you're pregnant, coordinating how your body adapts, how you sleep, how you handle stress, and how your body prepares for birth. It's rarely part of a standard prenatal visit, but it's worth knowing about.

What we actually look at

At Connected Kids, every pregnancy visit includes an INSiGHT nervous system scan, three simple, non-invasive readings, safe throughout every trimester:

  • Heart rate variability (HRV), a look at how well your body is adapting to stress

  • Thermal scanning, which shows patterns of nervous system activity along your spine

  • sEMG, which measures tension in the muscles that support your spine

None of it involves radiation, and none of it is uncomfortable. It's simply information your regular prenatal care doesn't usually collect.

Why it's worth checking

We don't promise this test predicts anything or guarantees an outcome. What we can say is that a lot of moms carry things quietly through pregnancy: sciatic pain, round ligament pain, restless nights, and a general sense of being "on edge," and don't realize those are worth looking into instead of just pushing through.

The scan gives you a real, visual look at what's going on, instead of guessing.

What a visit looks like

Your first visit includes a full consultation, the INSiGHT scan itself, and a doctor's report of findings where we walk you through exactly what we saw and what it means for you, no jargon, no pressure.

If you're curious whether your nervous system is handling this season the way it should be, this is a simple, honest way to find out.
