WELCOME TO CONNECTED KIDS
Your First Visit
Your first visit starts with a warm welcome.
Gina and Brittney will greet you at the front desk, show you around, and make sure you and your little one(s) feel right at home. Then you’ll sit down with Dr. Paulson to talk through your health history, what’s been going on, and your goals. Whether you’ve been searching for answers for a while or you’re brand new to chiropractic, this is your time to be heard.
Next come three gentle, non-invasive nervous system scans (Thermal, sEMG, and HRV). They’re completely safe for both kids and adults. The scans show us how well your nervous system is adapting to stress and where it might be holding on to tension, so we’re working from real information instead of guesswork.
Your Follow-up Visit
A clear plan made just for you.
At your follow-up visit, Dr. Paulson will walk you through your scans and exam findings in plain, easy-to-understand language. Bring all your questions! If he feels chiropractic care is a good fit for you or your child, he’ll share a care plan built around your body and your goals. This visit takes about 30 minutes, and you’ll leave with your very first adjustment.
Tailored Adjustments
Gentle, specific, and for every age.
Every adjustment is gentle and specific to you, whether you’re a newborn, a growing kiddo, an expecting mom, or a tired parent. The goal is always the same: to help your nervous system function the way it was designed to.
And please, stay a while! We have water and snacks, a play area for the kiddos, and a cozy mom’s room with a nursing chair and changing table. We want our office to feel like a second home.
Why we Don’t Accept Insurance:
We made this choice intentionally. Insurance-driven care often limits the time, quality, and type of care you receive.
By stepping outside that model, we are able to:
Provide care based on what YOU need, not an insurance code.
Focus on your goals and tailor care to you specifically.
Make wellness care accessible with discounted family plans.
We accept FSA and HSA cards. Our team is happy to discuss care plan options that work for your family.
Your New Patient Visit is only $149
This covers both of your first two visits: a one-on-one consultation with Dr. Paulson, all three INSiGHT nervous system scans, an exam, and a follow-up visit to walk through your results and your personalized care recommendations.
Expecting? The Connected Pregnancy Experience™: $67
For pregnant moms, we’ve made getting started even easier. Your visit includes a personalized pregnancy consultation, INSiGHT nervous system scans, and a doctor’s report of findings with a plan made just for you.
CLA INSIGHT SCANS
Heart Rate Variability
HRV Scan
Our scan that measures HRV, or heart rate variability, gives us insight to how well your body and nervous system is able to adapt to stress.
Healthy people with a well-balanced nervous system easily adapt to stressors around them, and are found plotted on the graph with the white dot in the “green” zone.
There are four other zones that we might find your “white dot” plotted in, which lets us know if your parasympathetic or sympathetic nervous systems are more dominant and how much capacity for adaptation you have.
SEMG Scan
Our SEMG scan, which stands for surface electromyography, shows patterns of stress in your nervous system that are affecting your postural muscle tone and balance.
The small muscles along your spine have very important functions, such as providing structural integrity and proprioception to the rest of your body.
If the energy of these muscles are too high or imbalanced, this can affect energy levels, coordination, and protection of your spine.
Surface Electromyography
Thermography
Thermal Scan
Our thermal scanner measures the temperature on each side of your spine, starting at your sacrum and up to the base of your skull.
The surface temperature of your skin along your spine is controlled by your autonomic nervous system, which is what also controls “automatic” functions in your body such as heart rate, breathing, hormonal function, and much more.
If your autonomic nervous system is functioning properly and without interference, the temperature on the left and right sides of your spine should be the same.
This scan enables us to determine what organs and functions of your body may be affected, as well as the severity and chronicity of the stress
